The Eastchester Historical Society preserves and interprets the history of Westchester, with an emphasis on Eastchester; it also operates programs in its 1835 Marble School House. |

The Marble School was built of marble from the Tuckahoe quarry. In a separate building on site there is a reference library which contains books, maps, photographs and documents. Visits both to the school and library are by appointment only. To make an appointment please contact Mr. Mike Fix, President Eastchester Historical Society, at (914) 395-3247. Admission for school house: Adults $1.50, children $1.00. Library: Free. |
